CAI x JC COLLEZIONE

OMG !!!!!! I love this new line of shoes CAI x JC COLLEZIONE. The line consist of  7 styles and each shoe comes in various colors. The CAI shoe line is designed by Kevin Tsai a famous Taiwanese author and television host; this a collaboration between him and JCC brand. The shoes are luxurious, fashionable, and supposedly comfortable. Shoes are made with air max 90 material so it's similar to how Cole Haan uses Nike Air technology.  I want them all!!!!!!

Each shoe is named after a different stage of LOVE, so each shoe depicts a different love story. How uber sweet and cute! It is only sold in China at the current moment and the site is in chinese only. I need someone to get me these ASAP! Time to call up some friends in Asia and some long lost relatives from the motherland. LOL!!!

BIODERMA Hydrabio H2O ..... all in one cleanser, makeup remover, and toner in one!!!

BIODERMA Hydrabio H2O Daily moisturizing non-rinse gentle cleanser & make-up remover
One of my Favorite Products

Why I love this product?
BIODERMA Hydrabio H2O  is made for the lazy, just wipe and you are done. This product is a cleanser, makeup remover and toner in one. It is strong enough to clean off all make up and residue but also gentle leaving your skin soft and clean. After using this product all you need is moisturizer and you are finish.  It is great for skin that is easily irritated and dry especially during seasonal changes. Bioderma Hydrabio H2O is great for those that don't like to clutter their bathroom with excess products and the low maintenance gals/guys.

What really bugs me is that it is not sold in the United States or sasa.com. There is always amazon.com and various online stores, but it's super expensive. If you are Asia or France stock up on it. I bought like 6 bottles when I was in Paris! It is sold in most pharmacies in France and Asia.

How I use this product? ( My skin type is combination and sensitive.)
They have several different lines and but I only used the BIODERMA Hydrabio H2O (for dry to combination sensitive skin). If I am just staying home I usually wake up and wipe my face with Bioderma and then put on moisturizer and call it a day and repeat at night. During the summer  I love to use this as a toner. I would wash my with a regular facial cleanser and then follow with Bioderma Hydrabio H2O as a toner. I noticed during winter when using this product as cleanser and toner my skin is less dry and does not peel as much (less patchy).

I heard their SPF is also super! Will try and review.

NEOSPORIN® ..... Acne Rescue

I use Neosporin on acne that I extracted, picked, or popped. (I know it's bad habit!)  I began to notice that acne does not heal as quickly now that I'm an adult versus my teens days. When I was in my teens I was able to do all kinds of horrible stuff to my skin and I had youth on my side. The story is so not the case now.  I have been noticing for the past year that my acne is taking forever to heal and the affected area sometimes takes over 6 months to completely heal. If the area becomes red and the pimple seems to have gotten bigger; first bumpy and then red for months. This is because instead of the removing acne I actually case an infection. So pimple and the surrounding area is now red, bumpy and painful.  Acne is annoying and stressful; we know what we are not suppose to do, but just can't help it.

I have discovered by applying Neosporin on the pimple after extraction helps. I continue to apply Neosporin twice a day once in the morning and night after I cleanse my face until it has healed.  Neosporin dramatically decreased the time it will take for the affected area to heal and scaring is less noticeable. It is not a miracle product because you will see scarring just less visible.

Why I think Neosporin works?
Since Neosporin is an antibiotic ointment it will help disinfect the area so there won't be further irritation or infection. In addition Neosporin has been clinically proven to help wounds and scabs heal quicker and minimize the appearance of scars.

We really shouldn't extract acne ourselves, but for those who are like me and can't help it Neosporin is my acne rescue.

Belle Madame Sponge Hair Curlers - Best Over the Night Curlers Ever if not the Cutest!!!

Finally found  these online at sasa.com . These are the cutest curlers ever and super comfy. They come in a pack of 6 for  $2.50.  I first saw this on a Taiwanese drama and a beauty talk show, but couldn't find a store that sold and shipped to the US. I came across them while browsing on sasa this Wednesday under new products.  So excited they come in strawberry, pumpkin, circle, star, and hearts. The curlers are made of soft sponge material so its pain-free and does not harm hair. It is super comfortable for sleeping  during the night and then remove for curls next morning without pulling or damaging hair. It also easy to wash and clean because the material is antimicrobial.

I am gonna buy them in every shape. Haha :)

tip - sasa.com offers free shipping for purchases $75 and up

Comeback Shoe the Flatform

Derek Lam $590 @ saks
Tinley Road Adelina $59 @ piperlime

Everyone knows that platforms been back big time, but flatforms are getting a fierce come back too in the 2011.  Above are flatforms feature in Derek Lam's 2011 Collection. I am quite positive I will not be purchasing this specific Derek Lam shoe pictured above. My head questions why anyone would want to purchase it period and at $590. I won't wear it even if it was FREE! (Sorry that is just my own opinion if you can ROCK it! Go for it!) For those who feel the strong urge to follow this trend and don't have $600 to spare, I suggust the more budget friendly version on the right. Tinley Road's version is very budget friendly and you will feel less buyer's remorse when question yourself as to why you decided to buy flatforms.

Happy Shopping!!!

Iconic Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curler

Best Eye Lash Curler on EARTH! That is how much I love this eye lash curler. Love Love Love!!! It usually cost $19, its on sale on www.sasa.com for $12.60. I advise everyone to jump on the deal ASAP because sale ends February 11, 2011.  To purchase click Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curler . Okay, even if you miss the deal it usually cost $15.80 only on SaSa

Why I love this eye lash curler?
I am Asian  and Asian lashes are short, straight, and grows downwards. This eye lash curler lifts, curls, and is able to sustain for more than 5 seconds, unlike the rest. It gives you the perfect curl and not just folding your lashes like other brands. Once you tried it you just can't compare, it gives you results without having to use a vibrating or heat lash curler.

What happens when you bring a white leather bag to the salon?

Loewe HANDBAG MISTRAL in Nappa Leather £ 895.00

The answer to the question is you should never bring a white bag to the salon. I purchased a white nappa leather Loewe bag when I was in Spain last April. Upon my first week back in the states, I went to the salon with my new bag. To my horror the junior colorist by accident got hair dye on several areas of the bag. I didn't notice it till after  shampoo and was getting my hair trimmed.

How I tried to savage my bag?
1. My stylist gave me this harsh chemical used to remove hair dye that smelled like bleach. It got some of the stains out, but it was ruining the leather texture at the same time.
2. Read the care instructions on the little booklet from the Loewe. It said to clean with cloth and soapy water. Did not work the dye had set in by then.
3. As per friends, Google, and Bing the eraser. It works on pen or pencil marks but not hair dye.
4. Bring the bag back to store and have them professionally clean it. As I mention above I bought it in Spain, they do not have a store in the US.
5. Bring it to a leather cleaner in New York. Problem which cleaner to use and trust. My final and only solution being that this bag was not cheap and just tossing it to the side wasn't an option.

Where to get your leather goods (shoes, belts, luggage, and bags) cleaned or repaired in New York?

The answer is Modern Leather Goods. After a week of extensive research they were the most honest and reputable leather repair shop by far. Their pricing was reasonable and they had great reviews. Modern Leather Goods has been published in numerous magazines like the New Yorker and New York Times. It is also a known fact that many of the luxury designer brands actually outsource their repairs to them. The estimate time repairs and cleanings is 2 weeks. Many of the other leather cleaners I called tried to charge me extra due to the fact my bag was white. ( The picture I posted is in black, I will later post my actual bag.) Modern actually informed me up front that they do not charge extra for white bags and told me that white and black colored leather were actually easier to clean and repair. It had to do with matching the original colors.

I picked up my Loewe bag from Modern and it looks brand new. They had re-dyed my whole bag white, cleaned, and conditioned the leather. The total cost was $119, my bag was rather large in size.
